“Sensory” Lengu board game
38,00 €
The game disc contains 15 exercises and one bonus sector.
GAME OBJECTIVE:
- To support the development of the child’s sensory systems and sensory-based skills. Humans process sensory information through eight sensory systems or senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch, balance, proprioception, and internal sensations.
- To support the child’s self-regulation – the ability to understand and manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviour in response to different situations.
- For parents, this game offers an opportunity to discover their child’s sensory preferences and challenges, enabling them to provide personalised support for their child’s development. It also offers the chance to learn self-regulation techniques, which can be applied individually or together during challenging moments.
- The recommended age of players is 3+.
- The number of players is unlimited.

- The player spins the game disc and performs the task indicated by the Lengu game arrow when it stops (if the game disc continues spinning for too long, it can be
stopped manually for example using different body parts). - The task description can be found in the task table and video tutorials.
- We recommend playing with an adult to
guide and support the child in completing the tasks. - The number of repetitions is a guideline.
- The number of repetitions can be increased or decreased.
- If a task proves challenging, don’t give up!
- Keep trying and experimenting. Remember, practice makes perfect!
- If the player’s arrow continuously lands on the same task, they
can spin the game disc again or choose an adjacent task. - One of the 16 sectors on the game disc is the bonus sector.
- The bonus rule is determined by the game leader at their discretion. As a suggestion, the bonus could be a crunchy or chewy snack (like carrot or dried fruit), a cold drink or a drink with a straw (you can add an ice cube).
Developer of the exercises: occupational therapist and sensory integration practitioner.
