GAMEPLAY
- The child spins the game disc and speaks on the topic indicated by the Lengu game arrow when it stops.
- The questions corresponding to the pictures can be found
in the table in the game instructions. - The player should answer these questions by reflecting on their actions, thoughts and feelings.
- The game leader’s role is to guide the player, encouraging them to use descriptive full sentences and figurative speech (according to the child’s age and abilities) while completing the task.
- An adult or another player can assist the child by asking guiding questions to encourage a deeper discussion on the topic. If the child needs further clarification, the adult can help by explaining the meaning of the questions.
- If the player’s arrow continuously lands on the same task, they can spin the game disc again or choose an neighbouring task.
- Some questions are also aimed at the adult.
- Storytelling plays an important role in a child’s development.
