Lengu – inspired by the Latin word linguosus, meaning talkative and expressive.

The core of our team is formed by four mothers – Kaili, Jane, Maarit, and Tiina – united by a shared vision to develop products in collaboration with specialists that enrich everyday communication and support speech development.

Lengu’s story is a great example of how personal experience and real needs can lead to innovative products and solutions that benefit the wider community. The idea for Lengu Game was born out of Maarit’s need to support her children’s speech therapy at home. This playful approach quickly received positive feedback and showed remarkable results.

Together, we transformed the home version of the game into a product that now helps other children develop their speech skills. To ensure continuous and professional product development, we work closely with speech therapists, psychologists, therapists, and other practicing specialists in their fields.

Our goal is to provide science-based yet playful tools that support children’s development and are suitable for use by both professionals and families.
